Been A Long Time

A while back I made some posts about how I wanted to get either a Lee Enfield or an AK-47. I got neither.

Instead, I got this little gem

It's a model '38 Mosin Nagant. This particular one was made in 1943, in the good old USSR. It takes the 7.62x54 cartridge, which is essentially a .308 round. It came with a shoulder strap and a cruciform bayonet
