Hello everypony,
I'm sorry to have to tell you that I have to put Contact on a temporary hiatus. I've never really been fast in updating, but what I'm doing now is ridiculous, so I want to tell you a few things.
First of all I'm not giving up on the story. I have not lost my motivation to write or anything. This hiatus will end, that's definite. It won't drift of into "cancelled"
The previous weeks and months have just been stressful. I was supposed to finish my bachelors degree a few months ago, so I had to write a bachelor thesis. I've poured a lot of time and work into it and was feeling very confident as well. Then a few weeks ago I was getting a mail from my professor, telling me that he isn't happy with it and I failed. I still don't know any solid reasons, but I had to accept it at some point and now have to start all over. This means a whole extra workload I get on top of my master's courses, which aren't all that easy either.
Okay, enough with me rambling.
This basically means that I can't really find much time to write, given that I'm occupied with uni stuff during the week and travelling on the weekends because I want to see something different than the walls of my room (I do most studying from home)
I barely even get the time to translate something, I'm just lucky to have built up quite a buffer there to not get into pressure anytime soon.
Well, anyways. I'll be back with new chapters someday, but right now I can't really tell you when that will be. Don't worry, the story is not dead.

(about the failed thesis). Stupid professor should at least tell you why he didn't like it and failed you.
I wish you luck in your continuing pursuit of higher education. It is much more important than working on a fanfic story.
On a plus side, I still have to read the story so I am not in any hurry for you to update it.
It has been in my read later list for a while, but I just have not had a chance to get to it yet. Hell, I even downloaded it to my crappy laptop for when I am traveling to read, but... it keeps getting pushed back. One of these days though I will actually get to it.
