Welcome to PRB’s latest Information Checkpoint. (AKA big huge clump of information post)
I have three major things to discuss. Read whichever parts you’re interested in.
1. Behind the Scenes: Fluttershy’s Bad “Hare” Day
I’d like to share a few tidbits of info I thought were interesting about Fluttershy’s Bad “Hare” Day, now that it’s finished.
-First of all, now that I’m done, I can tell you this: One major reason I bumped this story to the front of my own “to be written” queue was because of the way the fandom typically sees Angel. I decided to use a story to see if I could get more people to like him. He really isn’t as bad as everyone makes him out to be (I mean, just watch Hurricane Fluttershy) so I went to see if I could create a few Angel Bunny fans. Did it work?
-Jim the Squid: I have no idea why Jim became so popular. I wrote that part of the story on a crazy whim, and I was about to delete it and try again, but my sister insisted that the readers would love it. Hesitantly, I took her advice, and it paid off. So yes, feel free to make Jim fanart, write Jim poetry, etc. (some of you already have done that second one) if you feel a special attachment to everyone’s favorite philosophical squid.
2. What’s next from this author?
I promised the readers of my first major story, “Shipping and Handling”, that there would be a series of short, funny bonus chapters detailing the further adventures of the major characters from the story. Now that my latest story is done, those are top priority. So fans of Shipping and Handling, get set for some more content within the next few weeks.
After the bonus chapters are done, it will be time to start a new fic, and I have several ideas. I have decided what my next story will be, but I’m only going to reveal a few details now:
-It will be a oneshot, probably a little over 10k words. (Or possibly even a little longer)
-The main characters are the Flim Flam Brothers
-The genre is, once again, comedy
So if you’ve read my other work and are still craving more, stay tuned for that eventually.
3. Final details regarding Bronycon
Bronycon Summer 2012 is in less than a week. I’ll be there.
Again, those looking for me can look out for my dark blue baseball cap with Derpy on it, and I’ll attach my PRB logo to my shirt somehow (maybe it’ll be on my badge? I don’t know.)

Heh, sorry if you aren't a Flim Flam fan.
Luckily it's only a quick one, I'll be moving on to some longer stories about more important characters after that.
But yes, next in line is the bonus chapters. In fact, Glow's chapter is almost done already.

Angel is essentially a 6 year old child. He's frustrating but it's hard to actually hate him.
Jim the Squid wasn't a great character, you just wrote an incredible scene with him in it.
I am biased against the Flim Flam brothers, not because I dislike THEM but I consider their episode to be the single worst in the series.

Three: Write the Flim-Flam story FIRST! Those two con-men are my favorite antagonist characters because they WOULD have won had they not freaked out.

In my mind, you saved Angel's life. No seriously, I was going to write a gorefic just to murder him (Angel Gets His Comeuppance) , i hated the bastard. In fact it's half finished, but now I'm not sure I have enough bloodlust to anymore.
I had witty one-liners and everyhing. I now both love and hate you for taking away my bloodlust.

Also, the reason why he was so popular was propably the reason why you wrote him. He is so crazy and random that it's awesome
