One would think that due to its inherent magical properties, the hammer is simultaneously an immovable object and an irresistible force. It therefore has no definable mass in terms of physical effects except when thrown and its impact force is determined by the amount of kinetic energy absorbed and released. In other words... it's as heavy as the writer wants it to be. :)
