    Yo, look, Scatter's alive!

Just to assuage any worries, I'm not dead. I have been sorting through some pretty unstable emotional and societal worries. I've been working two jobs since my last upload and it is kind of draining on a spiritual level that the second job is a piece of shit part time gig I planned to dump five fucking years ago.

A head's up for everyone, the next chapter of Snowfall may be a bit late. I know it was supposed to be coming out this week, but the semester is winding down and I have final projects galore that need completion. Sadly, school must come first, so it may take an additional week to get out the next chapter. Thankfully, Thanksgiving break is soon upon us, so I'll have some free time to get it done, reviewed, and out for public enjoyment!

Thanks for your understanding and support, it really is immensely heartening to know people out there are reading and enjoying my work. It gives me a reason to keep trucking, no matter what else I have to do!

If the main cast of Snowfall was voiced, what would they sound like?

I've never actually thought about it. I suppose if I had to assign voices I'd have them be based on the characters themselves. Like, Sleet's voice would be pretty nondescript like the rest of her. An "average" voice with no noticeable speech impediments, vocal tics or distinguishing factors. Now, that could change with the Charisma chip. The hormone therapy it gives would be like a second puberty, so her voice might crack occasionally, growing more feminine and "sexier" as the chip's affects take noticeable hold (definitely something I'm going to be keeping in mind moving forward).

Scout probably speaks very quietly, since that would help him go unnoticed and therefore unattacked. I imagine his voice would be somewhat gravelly thanks to long periods of disuse since he was a loner before meeting Sleet. He's probably had to talk more in the past few weeks following her around than he has in years.

And finally, Clarity. I've kind of always imagined her having a voice like Rarity's but without the posh accent. She's a lot more plainspoken after all, so she wouldn't bother putting on such effects. It'd probably also be a bit "lighter" if you know what I mean, since she is a crystal pony. Clarity might not actually be a delicate piece of glass as a person, but she would still probably sound like one.

Kind of an off the cuff answer, but thanks for asking! I've never really thought about stuff like this and its interesting to suss out in my head. It also helps me keep in touch with the characters! My school work has me constantly writing other things and reading others' work, so I'm eternally paranoid that I've messed up Snowfall by subconsciously jacking someone else's work. Thank you!

Why did you not give me the latest chapter for prereading? Also, the name of said latest chapter should be "Because That Would've Been Too Easy".

I got caught in the moment uploading the double feature and forgot, sorry! :twilightblush: I'll be giving you chapter 22 and onwards, but forgive me if I'm a little halting starting off. you're the first prereader I've worked totally online with!

If Clarity looked at the main cast (that is to say, Littlepip and her friends) of the original Fallout: Equestria, what would she see and how would she react?

Ohhhh now that's a good one!

I think for Pip it would be fairly simple at first glance, the screen of her PipBuck Cutie Mark is lit like its the actual device. At closer inspection (which would require a bit of flank-staring, not that Pip would mind), the screen would display Equestria, bright and unblemished by war, since that is the hopeful vision Pip fights for. Because Pip is the leader of her merry band, like Sleet is of theirs, Clarity would feel compelled to compare the two. Though, given the current location of Sleet's story, it would not be very flattering.

For Calamity, she would probably initially panic at her vision since it would probably take the form of chains linking the group together, starting with Calamity himself. It wouldn't take long for her to realize that these chains don't mean slavery, though, rather they represent the bonds of friendship between the group and Calamity's unwavering loyalty to them.

Velvet Remedy's vision would not appear to manifest right away, until Clarity heard a tweeting on her shoulder. Since Velvet is characterized by her compassion for others and selfless giving, the vision of her soul would not be on her, but rather appearing as song birds on the shoulders of everypony around her. Clarity would probably act much like she did when she first met Sister, very forward, friendly, and eager to meet this shining beacon of a person in a vicious and evil world.

SteelHooves' armor would be heavily tarnished, rusted, and have exposed wiring in places despite actually being in perfect repair. the only flawless part of it would be the symbol of the Ministry of Wartime Technology, or Applejack's Rangers on his flank. (Not sure how far you've read in the original, so I redacted a little there.) She'd feel a soul-deep weariness and regret when looking at him, and as a result would probably try to talk to him about it (for all the good that ever does with SteelHooves).

Last but not least, Xentih. She would probably look downright terrifying, wrapped mummy-like in bandages and barbed wire and giving off serious vibes of "stay the fuck away" which Clarity would be all too willing to obey. Once she sees how nice the rest of Pip's party is to her though, and how the wrappings seem to fall off around them, she would at least try to approach her and be civil. Whether or not that works is somewhat up in the air, I'd actually have to write the scene out.

Thanks for the question! It was super interesting, though it made me realize just how much I need to reread Fo:E!

Are you planning on developing the Four Great Lords? I want to know more about them then just some ponies Sombra chose.

3164381
That's actually coming up fairly soon. The Lord's are going to be a bigger part of the plot in a more immediate sense going forward, and the mysteries surrounding them are going to start coming to light!

Is Stable 126’s Overmare based off of or is in any way related to Starlight Glimmer?

3198609
I wrote that chapter long before Season 5 was a thing, so I'm afraid not. There are some similarities (both leaders of cults who maintain their power through magical manipulation) but that's really just coincidence.
