First off, if you are reading this than you are most likely one of my new followers! Therefore I want to thank you for all the positive feedback you gave me for Practice. It's amazing what wonders it can do for your heart to have your work appreciated. I was so nervous!
I really do want to thank you though, and everyone else who read, liked or faved. Because Practice (at the moment) has 100% Positive feedback!
It might not be that popular - not that many views - but TBH I don't care. I looked at some other one-shots and noticed that they commonly had only 20 likes and 2-4 dislikes for ones with 500 views. Mine only has 144 views and has 22 likes and 0 dislikes!
This makes me very happy. SO THANK YOU!!!! 
If there was anything I was proud of in Practice, it was Vinyl's personality. I know it's a little conceded... but I think it's my favourite portrayal of the character I've seen so far. 
. 'Tavi was meh for me, not really better or worse than your average fic IMO.
Hmm... I was so blessed by all the positive feedback of Practice, I really want to reward my new followers with another one-shot...
But I can't think of a good plot! The plot of Practice just came to me when I thought that I should write a simple short story as a test and practice before committing to something greater.
I thought: Hmm, why don't I write a story about ponies practicing for my practice? It'd would be funny! I just happened to be reading a lot of OctaScratch fics at the time and so I just wrote about them! I always expected my first fic to be about FlutterDash - my favourite ship - but perhaps I should wait until I get more comfortable writing and posting these things...
...But now I can't think of anything to write! After the (relative) success of Practice -It might not have many views, but 100% feedback is hard to come by!- I don't want to risk posting something second-rate.
I'm thinking of LyraBon perhaps... it's my second favourite ship, and it's easier to do background ponies because their characters are not officially developed.
So what do ya'll think? (If anypony reads this lol...)

Yeah, even when I'm not too much of a fan with (sailing) ships, I enjoyed "Practice" anyways. So, you're thinking of a LyraBon story? Hmm, maybe perhaps Bon Bon could try and persuade Lyra to finally give up her interest in humans. That's all I could think of at the moment.
Also, you think it's easier to do fics that include background ponies? 
My my, I am proud of you for thinking that! For me, I find it harder to do background ponies because I don't know how to portray them since they don't have official development, and I'm afraid that I might make a character OOC (out of character).

Yeah well thank for the suggestion... Unfortunately I personally am not into the whole "Lyra is fascinated with humans" thing. In my headcanon she is just a pony with odd mannerisms (like sitting upright lol).
The exact reason I think it's easier to write background ponies is because I'm afraid to make a character OOC. Because background ponies don't have anything but very base characters i.e. Derpy is quirky and clumsy, Octavia is uptight etc.
I can take that base and run with it, whereas with the Mane 6, I have to make sure they don't act different than they do in the show.

I think you were spot on with Vinyl's personality, it's just the way I could see her acting in an actual episode. And I personally didn't mind you showing a lighter side to Octavia as well. I like it when writers have her loosen up a bit. :)

You think I did I good job with Tavi too? Hmm, I haven't read that many OctaScratch fics... or many Octavia fics in general.
But the few I have, she was actually less uptight than in my fic.
