First, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Halloween & Happy Nightmare Night. This has always been on of my favorite holidays, and that's why every year I try to have a story ready. Last year's From The Depths bled a little into December, and since my time is still limited I opted for a more condensed and focused one-shot. Still, it is a story, and one I had a lot of fun writing. So I hope you enjoy it as well, since it's also the first story I've written about Octavia and Vinyl since Changing Octaves a few years ago.
It's also first time in a long while I did my own cover art, so that was a nice change of pace as well.

I'm also going to take this chance to shout out about Nevermind, since it is a horror game and it is Halloween after all. Production on the game is really going along swimmingly. We're working on some great new stuff that looks beautiful and should be fun to play. But we'd love to do even more levels, so if you have any interest in the game, please go show your support.
Also, if you play Borderlands 2 or Boarderlands the Pre-Sequel , you should know this. Randy Pitchford, CEO of Gearbox, is going to make a 20 golden key SHiFT code available if Nevermind reaches its funding goal. Our lead designer, Erin, had the fortune to meet him, and he really wants to see our project do great so that he and other AAA developers can start to do the same stuff we are in their games.
If it's your favorite i'm surprised you didn't do a Nyx story on it.

2566603 Nightmare Night is the perfect holiday for Nyx. I know one author did do it but the story before that conflicts with Winter Bells so not canon
