Everywhere I go, Bronies always know that Jacob Keel has got a pony that he loves to show.

    It's Been a While

So a couple dozen poems, one full novella, and a bunch of writing later, I finally come back to this site. I'd like to thank you for everything you guys have done for me.

    I Just Realized

Though tortoises are strong, their shell can only withstand so much weight before it breaks. As with other types of keratin, the load bearing capacity is high, but not high enough to support a full human body without cracking or separating.

Considering such information, would Tank really have been able to carry Rainbow Dash to the end of the race in "May the Best Pet Win"?

    Winner Winner, Chicken Dinner

So I finally won NaNoWriMo for the first time. Whoop-dee-frickin-doo. Zippity-doo-da. Hi-dee-hi-dee-hi-dee-hi. [Other nonsense syllables here.]

In other news, we have something big coming up in three days. Not to spoil it or anything, but Mr. Anonymous is getting a bit of a surprise!
Don't tell him I told you, but it's his birthday. He doesn't like me telling people.

    I'm Confused

That's pretty much it. Why do you guys even like me in the first place if all I do is create and delete blog posts, rarely update my stories, and act like a total ass half the time?

Of course, I might be blowing it out of proportion, but that's what I believe I do.

Remember "Sky of Fire"? · 4:53am Oct 26th, 2014

If you do, then you probably remember that I was writing it for Camp NaNoWriMo this year. As it turns out, I didn't win, but I did manage to write 18000 words of it. Considering it's an action-oriented (possibly science fiction) work, I'm aiming for around 70000 words.

With that being said, I do have a slight issue that I'm running into; I'm failing to describe things well enough for my readers. The two people I have proofreading it say I'm not giving enough description of the surroundings, and focusing more on the characters. While that's something I love to do, I need to fix that aspect of my writing before I publish anything.

So are there any tricks you guys know of to help me flesh out the surroundings without going too purple?
