Chapter 9 peak · 5:48am Oct 25th, 2014

So i am working on chapter 9, woo woo. this one is going to give a bit of insight on the shade and also how Evan is going to physically react to his presence within him. Here's a little sneak peak.

A shade? That's impossible. Celestia scoffed at her sister. "You and I both know that that is not even possible for two reasons. One, a shade can only exist after the spirits body dies, and two said spirit would have to have had...strong enough feelings to not move...on." Celestia slowly stopped talking as she noticed her sisters face pale even more. Following her terrified gaze she almost screamed when she saw what lie on the ground where Evan was moments earlier. Hair grey and lifeless, skin as ashen and colorless as a cloudy day, eyes blood red and pupils like a snakes.
The shade slowly stood, unaware of the two petrified pony princesses in front of him. "I'm free." His voice was as smooth as velvet and charming enough to talk a mouse into a cats mouth. "All that time gathering aether and I am finally free." The shade began to laugh, a sound that sent shivers of disgust up Celstias spine and made her lady bits quiver all at once. He began to slowly rub his hands on his face, his movements so slow and deliberate, it was almost as if he were caressing a lover. Ripping the sleeves off of the shirt he morphed them into a cloak with a flash of his perverted dark magic and proceeded to fasten it about himself.
Dropping his hands he finally noticed the two alicorns staring at him. "Oh great, bitches." Sighing theatrically he shook his head, then whipping his arm out faster than should have been possible, threw a handful of aether at the two, causing them to jump out of the way. The ball of energy hit the door, blowing it off of its hinges, and with a flutter of black cloth the shade Blinked out into the hall. "Tata. I have things to do, gods of chaos to raise, all that good shit." Grinning, and flashing his demonic teeth the shade ran down the hall, Celestia and LUna right behind him.
As they ran Celestia began to notice something strange about the way the shade acted. He opted to jump over ponies or shove them out of the way instead of killing them and using necromancy to raise a small army to slow them down. May be it's a shade of low power. That was quite possible, beings born of hatred and magic shades could range anywhere from a foal to godlike when it came to their power, however the longer a shade lives the stronger it gets. Celestia shuddered at the thought of another godlike shade running around. The last one she dealt with was kind enough to take over the job of reaping the souls of the damned in return for being able to rule over Hell. Speaking of him, I should really ask Charon why he didn't warn me about this.
