I wanted to do something special for Halloween, so... Swiggity Swooty. Or, something or other.
So, hope you all have a great Hallow's Eve this year.
Progress report:
A King Unmatched: Chapter 3: Something Terrible is nearing completion. So, look forward to seeing that soonish.
Advent of Applejack: Chapter 9: Trojan is around halfway done, barring any further changes to its composition. Already on massive rewrite number 3, so forgive me if it's a little hectic.
Irony of Applejack Aftermath: A Warm Hearth: So, I've decided, after a lot of soul searching and thinking things over, that I'm going to do a series of rewrites to the overall plot of the story. I had a very good idea of what story I wanted to tell going in, but that derailed when I decided to focus more on Twilight's struggle. Or rather, the story decided for me; hard to explain.
As it is, the story is turning into something way too big compared to what I wanted it to be (something more lighthearted than it's turning out, and something that can be resolved in 2 or 3 chapters), so... over the next few weeks, I'm going to go back and change some things in the chapters that are already up to bring it more in line with my initial vision, which will bring the story more onto Applejack and the actual pageant. I'll put up a blog post letting you all know when I do it and on which chapter. I don't think this will be a complete rewrite (I'll probably change only a few things here and there), but when I put up the next chapter, I wouldn't want you guys to be lost on what's going on. I really don't like having to do this, but well, ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes.
And that about does it. Hopefully I can get done what I want to get done before Warlords of Draenor drops and completely steals my soul again. In the meantime, take care out there, and don't take any jobs at pizzerias.

Happy Hallow's Eve (Yes, I am stealing that) Man, it's been a long time since I've done anything for Hallow's Eve (See? It's mine now) I might go hang out with my friends. Then again, there is that bottle of tequila in the freezer... Or maybe I'll do both. I dunno. So, do you have any plans?

Not really. Professional recluse, here. I'll probably watch a horror movie with the folks, drink myself under the table, wakeup in Mexico buck naked, strapped to a donkey, minus a kidney.
So... nothing new.

Really it's more of going back to what I originally wanted the story to be, instead of what it turned into. I can do it, it's just a matter of sitting down and getting it done.
I appreciate the offer, though.
This mean King Unmatched will be updating on its old pace again or this effort for Halloween?
I'm not complaining. Heck I get time crunched and I only write ONE story, so I know you gotta be typing a hell of a lot more than I do. I'm just curious

No promises, really. I've got college to contend with, which doesn't help with inspiration, let me tell you. And since I have several stories going at once... yeah. We'll see.
