Guys... I'm running really late this month... · 12:16am Oct 23rd, 2014

But seriously, it's the 22nd, and I'm just now getting to my blog for October. Where has the time gone?

A large part of it is that there's simply so little to report: my life is in an interesting place right now, as I perch on the edge of a lot of possible changes in the near future. I've been through a lot of hassle trying to make money (funny story really) in preparation for things to move along. I'm sure the suspense is killing you, but from a mixture of professionalism and simple consideration for those of you who still follow me, I can't really say much until these 'things' happen.

I haven't had as much time to write as I had hoped this month. Like I said: trying to make money. I realize some of you think I could both write and make money, and while I'm flattered per usual, it's not a viable short-term option. More of a long-term thing, that. Nevermind that my birthday was last weekend, and I've been sick ever since. I suppose that's what one should expect drinking in the rain in the middle of October, eh?

I will try to get back to writing as soon as I possibly can, but my attention is pretty divided right now. The book will only improve (passively) as I continue to keep myself awake at night thinking about it, the universe, the characters, the plots, the creatures, the mechanics, the list goes on. Lots and lots of brain-work going on with it, if not pen-work. I've never been much for planning things, but I have to say, this is all coming along fairly fluidly and naturally. Not just in my works, either: my cooperative musings with Chris gain increasing depth for both edges of the timeline that our works represent, and things are meshing absurdly well. We keep creating new things and expanding, only to find that they are generally perfectly consistent with our early ground-work and wide-view ideas of the universe, rarely needing any adjustment anymore. (This was not true a month ago.)

It's turning out to be just as fun to wrap my head around and build conceptually as it is to write, which is both good and bad. It's good in that it ensures I will give every odd and end of this upgraded universe a thorough thinking-through. It's bad, however, because I spend plenty of hours thinking which I'm sure I could spend writing instead.

It will be fun, but until I get some news regarding my potential future issues, make enough money to ride me through them, and kick this sickness, I'll be on a short writing break. Emphasis on short.

Sickly,
Aaron.

Don't worry yourself!

I don't care if it were to be even later, cuz I'll still love having an update from you.

It's cool to hear these things, sad to know you're sick, but it is that time of the year after all, I'm a bit sniffly too.
Oh, and you had bday last weekend? Well happy birthday then! :D

I look at the title, combined with the choice of image, and suddenly I want to read a "Pregnant Twilight" fic. :facehoof:
