    Bored Gods

    Another new story!

    Boredom.

To the few who follow me:
    ... why?
But thanks, and I hope you enjoy this extremely short idea story. :twilightsheepish:

    To anyone else:
How did you even get here? :rainbowhuh:
Also, have you read my stories? It's not much. You could probably knock them all out in a single sitting, so go nuts!

    Cutie Mark Update

Not a big deal, but I finally got around to making an image of Scribe's Cutie Mark (the OC I use for my avatar).

I've also added it to the 5 variations of him which I swap between as my avatar on various platforms, including FimFiction.

The Alchemist's Heart (sequel to When a Pony Calls) has now finished.
I previously posted a blog in relation to this story, and now that it's done I felt like doing so again.

New Story + · 11:39am Oct 19th, 2014

First off, I posted a new story, Lunam Subriden.

Second, I recently finished a HiE story by the name of Misunderstandings, and while I don't feel the need to harp on whether it's good or not (it is) I did want to comment on the author.

You see, the final 2 chapters were posted less than 12 hours ago, but while checking for related blog posts I found that the author, The Rogue Wolf, has decided to give in to that most crippling of problems for a writer: Self Doubt.
He has convinced himself that his writing quality never improves and is such garbage that he shouldn't even try, despite having a up-to-down vote ratio for the story in question of 1990 vs 65, meaning people like it (myself included).

So what's the point of this blog? Why should you care? well, apart from the potential loss of good stories which he could have written, I hope any others out there who are unsatisfied with their own work can step back and look at the bigger picture. Check their followers, the comments, the favs, and the up votes. Measure the quality of your story not by if it matches the brilliance of your concept, but by it's public reception.

After all, in the end, isn't that the true measure of quality?
