Holy nutballs! I actually won! I don't even... What do I...? Do I give a speech? Do I need a suit? Would I have to shave?
In all seriousness, though, I really didn't expect to win this and I'm very surprised that I beat out a heavy-hitter like SS&E. Like, what even is? As soon as I saw that skirts had entered, I was all "Whelp, there goes any chance of me winning this", and yet, here I am.
To the judges: As a winner, I feel compelled, to... thank you, personally... for passing my story. So, um... thank you.
But being serious once more, thank you very much for thinking that my entry was good enough to win. Unanimous vote is pretty overwhelming on the ol' feels and self-confidence.
Thanks also to Tchernobog for egging me on to write it, otherwise, I most likely wouldn't have. Seriously, someone give him a slap on the back.
