    Story: The Engineer’s Wings.

So here is it, the quick little story that turned out to not be so quick or little. Funny how one’s anticipation of how long a story will be can be so off the mark.

    Story: The Cruelty of Kindness

So funny story. After finishing with The Paladin of Prismatic Light I thought to myself, 'I should write a short story to take a break from super time consuming ones like that. I know I'll write one of my alternate universe stories with a fairly short bullet point list of main events.'

Episode: Parental Guidance random thoughts and observations.

First off I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the episode was actually just as much of a Scootaloo episode as anything else. Always a plus in my book to see more Scoot and Dash interaction. And being the Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash fan that I am I wanted to share a few observations from the episode to anyone who cares to read the thoughts of some random author on Fimfiction.

Story: The Paladin of Prismatic Light

Well, it was meant to be long, not two-thirds the length of my actual book long, but that’s how it turned out.

Story: This seems Like a Bad Idea & Newbie Dash comentary

Like I said in the story's comments, this is the first time I've written a story as a direct response to an episode of the show. Sure single episodes have inspired stories before but I've never gone out of my way to fully script them, let alone write them out, before the next episode even airs or even usually before the session it was in had been fully seen.

Story #9: The Night's Light · 1:02am Oct 11th, 2014

Oh wow almost 14 weeks since I posted a story... That took way too long for a story I'm not even that confident in...

Okay, so this is more or less one of the first stories I wrote in my head. The base idea was simply that after session 1 had aired there wasn't anything on what Luna was doing the whole time, so I made this story line up.

Also, because of the way I write story lines this was suppose to be several stories that I then merged when I was actually typing it up. So the individual story ideas were:

#1: Luna spends time with each of the mane 6 and learned to tone down her outdated habits to the point were they seem more like the regular cultural differences that come from different areas, E.G the culture in say the city vs. the culture in the countryside.

#2: Luna spends time with the cutie mark crusaders and comes one step closer to feeling like she fits in the modern world.

#3: The nightmare invasion, and Luna finally feeling she's earned the true respect of a portion of her subjects.

#4-5: The trial and final battle with the shadow puppet caster were written kind of as a 2-parter despite being completely different topics.

Funny stories: so here's the interesting things about the revisions I made merging the stories together.

I never really wrote/planed out all six of the Luna with the mane 6 stories. However I did plan out the Applejack part, but didn't type it up because it didn't have anything to do with the shadow puppet story line.

I had Luna giving the gifts to the crusaders at the end of their adventure in the ruins, but moved that part of the ending to after the nightmare invasion.

Originally there were time lapses between stories 2 & 3, and 4 & 5 so they didn't originally happen back to back like they do now.

Not sure I can think of anything more to share on the story, but I can say my next story may not come as quickly as it should for the length it will be as my hobby writing time will be competing with a hobby engineering project for my spare time. that said it might cause a significant delay or the delay might be unnoticeable, I can't say for sure, it all depends on how quickly/slowly whipping up another prototype takes.
