I'm starting to get discouraged

Alright, I'll update my other stories; in this order

1. I am Not a Pony
2.God of Darkness
3.Humans return

I posted a new story, called the war for freedom, and I thought it was really good and well written, yet It's gotten such bad review. What's the deal!? Did I just automatically become a bad writer all of a sudden? How is it that it's so horrendous? How is it not on the same level as the other stuff I've written?

Well fine, I'll update my current stories, but I don't know if I'll write anything new anymore, if people are just going to call it bad without explaining what actually makes it bad. I'm sort of losing confidence in my writing for my current stories. Well, I guess that's all.

don't be discouraged man. i had a similar thing happen with one of my stories a while ago, Rescuing Rainbow. while some people had good points about why it wasn't a good story, others just seemed mean spirited about it.

don't let it get you down. we all write flops from time to time. after all, you need the yin with the yang. good with the bad. flops with the master pieces.
