Rakni here with a writer update on Of Dragons and Mortals.
Wow, I've been quiet for a while, haven't I? Problem is, I have had a lot of RL stuff to deal with, and I've struggled with motivation to write and all sorts of things. I haven't said anything because there isn't much to say.
Until now.
So why am I suddenly doing a blog post? What's changed? And will I just shut up and tell you what you want to hear?
So, answers: I've got a new job, things are looking up for me in general, and I have found new motivation to write. The fic was never dead and I've been able to work on it on and off, but now I'm actively writing again. Just yesterday, I got home from my new job, sat down, and I wrote until it was bed time.
It felt great.
So anyway, this is basically just a courtesy call to let you guys know that I'm still alive, and the next chapter is in the works.
