How Long It's Been! (Two Years?!)

My little ponies, it has been far too long since I've written for you! I remember I used to love hearing what you had to say about my work, the praise and the critiques! The last thing I was writing was "The Rise of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza." I'm afraid that that piece will need some serious renovations, as several canon episodes have explained Cadenza's past. But never fear, should you be

"The Rise of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza" Is Almost Ready to Take Flight!

After much homework, a now job, I have finally found some time to work on my new Slice of Life series. I have a little more to go yet to finish up this first chapter. Hopefully I can have it up by Thanksgiving!

    Distracted Writer?

So not trying to be a salespony or anything, but I came across this new writing program, while scrolling through my tumblr feed a couple weeks back. It's called Zen Writer, and I don't think I'll ever go back to creative writing again without it. I wasn't too taken with it at first. It is a very minimal program. It does not have a spell-check feature, nor does it have any advanced formatting

    It's Done!

Finally finished the new installment of The Life and Times of a Reformed Draconequus. I'm sorry it took so long. School started up. And as a Writing Major, I get a lot of writing assignments, which leaves me with less time and motivation for any outside work. Frankly, this new installment had me in a bind. I wan't totally sure how to execute my ideas. I hope it came out well and that my

Distracted Writer? · 4:33am Oct 8th, 2014

So not trying to be a salespony or anything, but I came across this new writing program, while scrolling through my tumblr feed a couple weeks back. It's called Zen Writer, and I don't think I'll ever go back to creative writing again without it. I wasn't too taken with it at first. It is a very minimal program. It does not have a spell-check feature, nor does it have any advanced formatting tools either. This is not because the creator was lazy, but because he is a genius. This program is full-screen and includes background music, if you choose to use it. It totally immerses you in your work. With this program, all you can see is your work. You can't even see the time. In addition, you can add your own backgrounds and music to personalize your experience. Because it has done so much for me, I'd like to share it with all of you. You can download the trial version or purchase it here.

Here's a screenie of my personal workspace. There's a bit of a sneak peak of The Rise of Princess Mi Amore Cadenza in there as well.

Keep writing!

It seems like a nice program, but I'm sticking with OpenOffice. :yay:

2516470 Open office is great. I use that, too, as well as google docs. Use ALL the programs!
