    It's late

But my brain isn't quiet. I'm stoned out of my goddamn gourd. Don't worry, it is just my usual regimen of drugs. That's how I spent a lot of my time now. Wasted. Doesn't really help with the pain much, but makes it a bit more tolerable. All of my drugs cost over 5 grand a month. That's what it takes to keep me going. I'm in somewhat better shape because of all of it, and there's a few bright

    Cyborgification is potentially a-go

Finally found a doctor that didn't run screaming upon seeing my spine images and xrays. The team is coming together. Met with the neurosurgeon the other day, and he thinks I am an ideal candidate for augmentation. The transition is happening, I think. I still have to pass a psych evaluation and other steps, but I am closer now than ever. First I'll have the trial run; they'll sink electrodes into

It's been a long, long road to get to this point. A big thank you to everyone who has been with me during this journey.

I suppose it is time for an update

Been meaning to this, and I've become the King of Pro-Crasty Nation. I kept wanting to report, but there was nothing to report, no good news at all, so I just... didn't. Sorry. Went a bit silent on my end. It just sorta happened.

I finally got a lawyer willing to take up my case. After that, things started happening.

The Pony-Loaf position.

Laying on belly, all four legs tucked in beneath the body, resembling a loaf of bread with a head. And in this case, a hat.

Thank you Applejack for demonstrating the 'pony-loaf' position, which happens to be perfect for loafing.

This is not the 'pony-loaf' position. Can you spot the subtle differences?

I will be including the words 'pony-loaf' as a descriptor in my stories, because I like the word 'pony-loaf' a great deal, and it works for quadrupeds. Like 'griffon-loaf.'

You may want to link to this blog the first time you use the term in a story. You're probably going to need to when people ask about it; might as well be preemptive. :raritywink:

I plan to do so. It is in the chapter I am currently editing. This blog is pre-emptive.

The cuteness shall last...FOREVER!!!

I think the second one is called the Sphynx position.

not sure about pony-loaf
most of the times the foals put the legs to the side... can't take pictures of it due to that being done mostly at night.

this is the filly btw, the cutest thing you ever seen :rainbowkiss:

My cat used to sit in the 'loaf' position. Only, because she was a pudgy kitty, she laid down, and she looked like a fluffy lump of sourdough. Only, y'know, more tabby.
It's how I've always imagined quadrupeds sitting when they're trying to be comfy.

Do I have permission to use this terminology elsewhere?

The term has me thinking of sandwiches.

I am hungry now.

Beep-boop.

Head cannon accepted.
