And the daily run of IC tooling around continues with Silver Veil, thus far only really explored in one side chapter of Starfall so this one should be eye-opening. To be honest, this has actually helped me both develop some of my/our background characters and is helping to re-energize me towards writing in general... Anyway, from here, I think I'm going to start working on my lesser-known characters like Allegro and Nightshade. Also, at my mate's suggestion, eventually I'll be interviewing my primary villain, Polaris.

1. What is your name?
Silver Veil, of the Star family.
2. Do you know why you were named that?
I was named for a great mage and heroine from the distant past, Glimmer Veil
3. Single or taken?
I am very much taken.
4. Have any abilities or powers?
My special talent is healing; not like the doctor ponies of today, my abilities are more closely related to the shamanic unicorns from before the tribes united to form Unicornia.
5. Stop being a Mary Sue!
Don't be ridiculous. I am anything but the ideal, believe me... (laughs)
6. What's your eye color?
Light blue.
7. How about hair color?
My mane is a mix of several shades of pale blue, much like my mother's.
8. Do you have any family members?
My husband Polaris and I have a wonderful daughter Starsong, a little piece of myself in another pony. (glances around) Just between you and me, we also have a second daughter, my little miracle filly, Starshadow, but lets just keep that between you and me for now...
9. Oh? How about pets?
I haven't had any pets since I married into the Star family. I do, however, have a bit of an affinity for birds. They just seem to flock to me whenever I'm out in the garden.
10. That's cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don't like.
I particularly despise anything or anypony that might bring harm to my family...
11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?
I'm an avid reader. I particularly enjoy reading about ancient or obscure magic and history.
12. Have you ever hurt anypony in any way before?
I've never hurt anypony... (narrows her eyes) Well, not with my own hooves, at least...
13. Ever… killed anypony before?
Of course not. My magic is meant only for healing.
14. What kind of animal are you?
I'm a unicorn, if you hadn't noticed.
15. Name your worst habits.
Well... I'm told I can sometimes be a bit of a busy-body.
16. Do you look up to anypony at all?
My colleagues in the medical profession are my continuing inspiration to better my virtually forgotten craft.
17. Are you gay, straight, or bisexual?
I am very straight. Although, in my youth I did have a few filly friends that made me question myself...
18. Do you go to school?
As I mentioned, I continue to train alongside the doctor ponies at Canterlot General. I suppose it's not a school per se, but I'm always learning new techniques.
19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?
Yeah... Kind of already did that.
20. Do you have fangirls/fanboys?
I don't know about that. The things I do tend to be behind the scenes, as it were. My daughters seem to look up to me a lot though.
21. What are you most afraid of?
This is a little silly, but when I was a filly I was almost struck by lightning. Since then I don't like to be outside when there's even a hint of a storm on the horizon...
22. What do you usually wear?
When I'm working or I'm at a social function for the family, I usually wear a short, light blue dress similar to the nurse uniforms from Canterlot General. Otherwise I don't really bother with clothes.
23. What's one food that tempts you?
Ever since I was a filly I've had an insatiable craving for strawberries. Anything with strawberries in it is my vice...
24. Am I annoying you?
It's fine. I so rarely get the chance to talk to somepony outside of my job or in some official capacity as "matriarch" of the Star family, so this has actually been rather pleasant.

(laughs) Well, don't you hold back on my account then.
26. What class are you (low class, middle class, high class)?
I am the highest of the high class as the wife of the Patriarch of the Star family. It's the most beautiful gilded cage I've ever encountered...
27. How many friends do you have?
Most of my friends are either servants of the family or colleagues at the hospital. Aside from that, I don't really talk to anypony else enough to really call them "friend".
28. What are your thoughts on pie?
... So long as it has strawberries in it, serve it up.
30. Favorite drink?
I've become a bit of a wine connoisseur over the years. I'm particularly fond of the reds from the vineyards around San Prancisco; you can really taste all the various other fruits they grow in the area.
31. What's your favorite place?
Believe it or not, my husband's study. Polaris has collected an impressive library of books on magic and obscure history over the years, and it's only fair that he share that knowledge with his wife... whether he realizes it or not...
32. Are you interested in anypony~?
Now now, I'm a married mare, after all. (laughs)

Yes it was,but I'll forgive you. I'm having too much fun to worry about little things like that.
34. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?
I used to live by the ocean as a filly. I kind of miss that sometimes...
35. What's your type?
Strong, confident, and clever.
36. Any fetishes?
Now what kind of question is that to ask a mare of my stature? (laughs) Well, since you asked, I'm quite fond of the extra sensitive parts of a pony's body; a unicorn's horn, a pegasus's wings, and an earth pony's teats. Incidentally, my own horn is hypersensitive, even by unicorn standards.

(laughs) wouldn't you like to know...? (cough)seme(cough)
38. Camping or indoors?
Indoors.

Divorcing my husband really isn't an option for me right now. Even if it weren't for my feelings for the pony, I have need of the resources that the Star family can afford me. That said, if I have to, I will side with my daughters against him...
