    About The Episode "Bats!"...

To be honest, I don't want to blame any of the writers for this episode, but am I the only one who noticed the many similarities with the 2005 movie "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse Of The Were Rabbit"?
    I mean, think about this:

-Both this movie and this MLP-Episode set up with lots of pests

About The Episode "Bats!"... · 12:50am Sep 27th, 2014

(In MLP it's the bats and in Wallace and Gromit it's the rabbits)
-One character has a giant version of what the respective pests eat growing for an upcoming competition.
(Applejack had her giant apple, Gromit had his giant pumpkin which both sacrifice towards the end to save their friends.)
-The heroes try to get rid of the pests by taking away their desire to eat what they had eaten up to this point.
(In MLP it's Twilights spell combined with Fluttershy's stare, and in W/G it' Wallace's new brain washing machine)
-Both experiments fail and cause one of them to slowly transform into a hybrid of themselves and the pests.
(Fluttershy/Flutterbat, Wallace/Wererabbit)

I guess somebody was a fan there, and I really don't want to blame them because that movie was awesome! ^^
But I don't believe this could have been a coincidence... O_o
