Just dropping by. I don't even know if this story has any active watchers any more.
I fell out of the fandom after the end of the second season. I guess it really was just a phase for me. I don't have much interest in the show any more, and I haven't even visited this site in almost two years. Everything pony-related kinda fell to the background for me, and before I knew it, my story had no updates, much less any news of an update, for a really, really long time. It's probably considered dead by now.
I know I'm probably terrible for abandoning this story like that, especially after the unexpected popularity it achieved. So I'll ask: is it a good idea to continue, and maybe even finish, this story? I'll repost this to my profile and see if anyone sees this.

I'd probably read more chapters if they were to suddenly exist. I've certainly put in more skimming past chapters time for stories with comparable amounts of lag on stories I've favorited, and I think this story was at a solid percentile among those long lag stories. I mean, I certainly wasn't sitting around for over a year looking wistfully at the unfinished story, but yeah, I could go for some arbitrary nearly two year old TwiDash.
Well, you know, I put it on my Favorites list for a reason.
If you want to write it you should go for it
I would enjoy seeing more of this story, and maybe you could find some fun in the writing it again.

Question: Have you seen seasons 3 and 4 yet? You say you fell out of the fandom after season 2, so if you haven't seen 3 and 4 yet, I would suggest watching them. Personally, I feel that season 3 was not the best (this opinion is mostly fueled by my thoughts that I wish season 3 had more episodes, and that the finale felt rushed to me), but season 4 is awesome. So I would definitely recommend watching those if you haven't yet.

My memory failed me when I said that; I actually watched most of season 3 but didn't see the last few episodes, including the finale. Personally, the idea of Alicorn Twilight was something that I was never able to accept, and that, along with my gradually waning interest in the direction that the show seemed to be headed (or lack thereof), were probably the two primary reasons that I stopped watching the show completely.
I still don't have any interest in Alicorn Twilight. If you can convince me that I should be interested, a change of heart would be welcome. :P

To be honest it made me sad to see some people just stopping watching the show after season 4, without giving Twily and season 4 a chance. They missed so many great episodes and songs.
I myself was really close to do the same mistake because I was panicking about the future of Twi and the show itself.

I will try, but I want to give solid reasoning that will actually have a chance of swaying you, which I can't do while overtired or while doing schoolwork.

So is this story dead again or is there hope for it to be finished? I'm sort of like you but 2 seasons later. Season 5 barely kept my interest and there are parts of season 6 in fact most of it that I cant stand/haven't watched. That said I am still and avid reader and even writer of pony fan fiction. It can be and anymore often is better than the source material. So hopefully you end up writing your twidash story to the finish. Its great characterization and pacing so far just need to wrap it all up.
