Hello, chaps.

It's quite nice to talk to you all again. I've come to inform you that the first chapter of the sequel to At Your Service is posted, and the story is submitted, to be evaluated at a later date.

"To Serve and Protect"

Circumstance has quite a cruel way of scrambling about the foundations of one's elaborately-planned life.

Take Midnight Oil, a Sarosian unicorn who had no safer alternative than to leave behind the life he had established in Canterlot for the city of Horseattle. Thrust into a new habitat and recommended for a new field of work as private investigator, an entirely different field from his previous one as scribe, he will no doubt need more than his wits to keep his job. Yet, after his explorations of the town, meeting the variety of coworkers in the police station, and undertaking his first case on a mysterious, hard-to-trace, cunning convict, Midnight can't help but think that more than his career was on the line.

Alas, this probably won't be too much to you all, as I've got almost 4K words done and taken care of for this first chapter. Yet I wish to update much more in due time. I hope you all find enjoyment in it as I did.
