    Side story?

In my quest to flesh-out Diplomacy for the Strong, I may have given this world-building a little too much thought... Like to the point that it just can't all be worked into the story.

As the title implies, A Letter to the Griffon Emperor on the Matter of War has now passed the odd milestone of having more likes than words!

It's been an interesting experience, especially since this story was literally written in an afternoon after having a chuckle at what a nation going up against Equestria would face. But now the story has featured, surpassed Canine Complications become my most popular story yet, has spawned some audio readings (linked below), and apparently started a trend.

Anyway, with the success of this story, and with (hopefully) my other stories wrapping up soon , I wanted to test the waters for a somewhat related sequel. Which you can find the beginnings of here: http://www.fimfiction.net/story/217612/diplomacy-for-the-strong

Thanks for your support!

FWIW, although I don't see anything wrong with the trend of "letters to foreign rulers from an Equestrian princess on why they should avoid offensive overtures", I don't think the other story handled it nearly as well.

2465694 I didn't mean I disliked the idea of having other stories written with the same concept, I just feel that the one I linked was just so similar to mine. I don't feel like he added anything to the concept, only put a fresh coat of paint over top of my story and sold it as new... I guess imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, and I like BronyWriter's other work, but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I think that bronywriters story has enough differences (celestia being the writer, it being a series of letters alternating between rulers, and implying that celestia is actively making plans instead of referencing treaties and facts of equestria) to stand on its own merit.

Just take solace that it's not a blatant rip off like that story that was deleted some time ago.

How is your process going for canine complications?:applejackconfused: I mean it's been a looong time since the last update and I hope you don't just abandon it. :fluttershysad:
