I'll be posting a real blog post in 22 hours or less, but I have some announcements and miscellany.
First, MaskedFerret posted a blog the other day: On ignoring your editors, and I couldn't agree with it more. If I was going to write a post on this subject, it would be exactly the same (actually, it would be worse. She gives examples and stuff.) So you should check it out.
I meant to post about that the day he posted it, but it slipped my mind, because...
I finished an entry for the writeoff! So I encourage you to head on over to the Writeoff website, read some of the fics, and rate them. One of them is mine, but I can't tell you which one. Or, if you don't feel like looking for mine, I'll be posting it next week.

Oh, and Maskedferret is a girl, though she's too nice to probably mind.
I tried, but sadly was unable to finish my little short in time... I even managed to come up with what I felt was a pretty solid idea, just didn't get it out like I should have. I'm a bit disappointed in myself and it shows how rusty I've become heh. Still, I'll probably post it here in a day or two--and good luck with yours! I'll be reading and rating as many as I can. Here's hoping I can get in next time.
