You’ve probably seen the ads for Bad Dragon.
Maybe you even clicked on one, and maybe purchased an awesome tentacle or a dragon tongue. 
Dash Attack was of the opinion, that such ads for sex toys make this site, with all its stories and members, look bad. To express his views, he formed a Fimfiction is now a proud sponsor of a furry sex toy store group.
I’m sensitive to such intolerance, so I wrote
Why such hate? Why can't you just love and tolerate it?
in his group’s comment section.
Personally, I thought those ads were a great idea. If knighty made a permanent pact with Bad Dragon, the Not Safe For Work stuff could be allowed again since the pietistic ads were the only reason for NSFW removal.

That suggestion, however, felt like a half-ass job. I don't do that stuff. When I go in, I go in full length, so Bad Dragon it is.

Also, I'm normally a fairly tolerant person, but the very idea of sex toys disgusts me. I try not to pre-judge people, but knowing that someone owns and uses such things makes it next to impossible. Like, I wouldn't just automatically hate them or anything, but I'd probably feel awkward conversing with them regardless of the situation.

But seriously - it only seems ironic because the site has a no "NSFW" policy. If the site went back to not caring, these ads seem perfect. If the site does care (for whatever reason - kids, to get better ads, etc.) then it should stick to it and not have the Bad Dragon ads.
Personally, I'm not one for extra restrictions. It's not the website's duty to make sure kids don't see "naughty" things.

2454016 I don't think the site cares about children. Knighty does, however, care about the adds. He already lost them once because of the NSFW content. I don't think there is any inconsistency with NSFW ads on a SFW site in knighty's mind. Personally, I do see the irony in it.
I was actually thinking of using that picture for my profile, but that might confuse some people. User name and profile picture are the only things that can be used for identification of a person. If I change both in a short period of time, then it would be like a new me.
I chose my current profile picture because of the inquisitive look. The look on the dragon in the blog's picture isn't what I'd call curious.

3128442 Pearltrees are like bookmarks, just that they are public and you can organize them neatly in groups. You can even collaborate with others to manage groups of links. It's very handy.
It takes a little time before you learn how to navigate properly, but then it's a very good experience. Let me know if you have any questions.
