I'm a mysterious man with a large Viewer list, despite being very self critical of my work. Looking to write professionally someday.

    Where I've Been

    Wow... it's been a while.

So... yeah. Where have I been? I've been at home. And I didn't realize it until this weekend, but I've been pretty unhappy since this whole mess with the pandemic began.

My Little Pony: A New Generation

Well, the last month has been a nightmare of overtime and fixing up my house, but today I managed to see the premiere of G5.

    Look Before Your Sleep

Well, here we are. Another inevitable episode about these different ponies who had little in common now having to put up with each other after having a mutual friend in Twilight. I can picture this already having happened between Rarity and Rainbow Dash, having learned to live with each other after having a mutual friend in Fluttershy.

    Where I've Been

Yeah... I'll bet you're wondering about my absence lately. I swear I didn't mean to take one.

Until the pandemic actually ends (and I mean ends, not just when everything opens back up) I'm going to be working overtime. I'm hoping it's coming to an end, but there is still mandatory hours for June.

I have a lot in the pipes, and I will still rereview the series. Just... please be patient.

PN Animated Adaptation Canceled · 11:55pm Sep 12th, 2014

Yeah, you might remember a year ago, when I announced that there were those interested in making an animated adaptation of my first MLP fic, Post Nuptials? If you do, you might be wondering why news on it petered out.

Well, we wrote the script and just about finished it. Then they started another project and communicated with me about it less and less. Then, last night, BronyRanger PMed me and gave it to me straight: he lost interest. Everyone else pulled out.

I'd love to take this elsewhere, but two things stop me:
1. I can't do much with it. I've already done the writing, and I have no clue how to make an animated adaptation in any other way.

2. I doubt anyone cares anymore. I was popular when we started, but with Families I think I went Jar Jar Binks on myself. Plus, A Canterlot Wedding was over two years ago, and the fics not that much younger.

I might make the script public at some point, and if anyone actually wants to, I'd be willing to work with them. But don't hold your breath.

That's terrible man.

But, I don't think that you went wrong with Families. If people don't like it, it's their problem. I actually enjoy the sequels very much.

I agree with Hidden. I myself halve enjoyed all of your work up to date and hope to see more.

I feel like I'm one of the only ones who actually prefers the sequels. On the one hoof you've got fluffy character moments and a bit of angst, on the other you've got conspiracies and multiple plot threads. Heck, I first heard of this series via mentions of Olive Branch on TV Tropes and read it to see just how the heck somepony could turn so many against Celestia.

Aw, I would wanted to see it :pinkiesad2:

Damn, sorry to hear that man...:applecry:

Doesn't matter. I am still doing a live read one day and make it myself.

Shame. I really enjoyed working on it. But, yeah my interests have moved to different projects. And you got Direction still going. So I'm disappointed but I not surprised.

I remember reading that story....quite frankly I don't think this could have happened to a better story as I eventually figured out Post Nuptials is basically a glorified fix fic.

I have to admit I've been wary of diving into Direction - I suspect it's one that I'll have to read when complete rather than as it goes along.
