Taking Up the Mantle Again · 9:44am Sep 8th, 2014
Hello ladies and gentlemen. I realize that I haven't really done much in the last few months, and haven't updated anything whatsoever. So I am here to tell you that I am in fact still alive, and that I have rekindled my fire for writing. I wont lie to you all, these last few months I seriously thought of giving up on writing, especially after I saw that one of my good friends, ReaperofSouls42, had quit writing. It was a huge blow because he was always so good at writing and he seemed to love it. This combined with my lack of doing, seeing, or browsing anything pony related seriously made me consider quitting myself. I was simply losing interest.
However one day I was simply walking around post with my iPod in and I drifted into my pony music playlist. (haha I know having a pony music playlist is stupid don't judge me :P) I fell into the older pony music and I began having ideas again. In fact I had several ideas and the fire for this fandom was re-kindled. I ended up re-reading many of the stories in Favs, including Gentlemen for Mares, and Fireflies. And after talking to my kick ass editor, I decided to take up the mantle of writing once again. I also couldn't help but notice that I'm almost at 50,000 story views and 600 followers. Seriously, I'm not even here and people still read my stuff. *Whistles* I'm impressed by you lot. I still have a busy schedule as does my editor but I will try my damnest to get at least these first two chapters out for you guys. Thanks you guys, hope to hear from you all soon. There is a little something for you guys at the bottom. One of the vids I love the most and the song fits beautifully. LOL!

I've always wondered why most writers in this fandom have similar problems, depression. I know that I have felt it here and there, but it seems that these writers ALWAYS have it. And its usually the more upbeat type of writers.

Quite fine. I am actually going to Russia tomorrow and I am currently in the process of packing up and cleaning house.
