A Christian nerd; probably the only guy you ever met who wanted the Larrymobile to be transformed by the All-Spark. My brother, The Traveler12, is NOT the lamest person you've ever met. Check him out!

Spoiler Alert: Solarman, Part 2 · 4:39am Sep 7th, 2014

:ajbemused:: ....Or when the alien spacecraft landed in the nearby ocean, somehow not gettin' picked up by radar or bein' noticed by anyone else in town. Ben goes to check it out. Sha-han's washed up on shore, where no one seems to've realized that the blue-skinned man's probably worth their attention.
:twilightoops:: Ben tries to help Sha-han, who gives him the Circlet. When Ben turns around, however, Sha-han is gone, and a confused Ben heads back home. Meanwhile, two of Kraal's robots arrive in another space ship that looks like Quackerjack's head, buck-teeth and all. They go into the ocean, only to find Sha-han's shuttle abandoned. Threatened with extermination if they fail, which still shouldn't threaten a robot, they go into the city to try and find the Circlet.
:pinkiecrazy:: Back in his room, Ben sees Sha-han again....sorta. He says he's not alive, so I guess it's a hologram, though it would've been nice if they had actually told us that. Or if they explained when Sha-han had the time to program the hologram. Or where the hologram is coming from. Or why it took so long to activate. Or where his body is if he's now dead....

:applejackunsure:: Yeah, we would've ripped off Linkara again, but we couldn't find the right clip. Anyhoo, Sha-han gives Ben a massive plot dump, includin' tellin' Ben that he must keep what he's been told a secret. Why? What could tellin' the cops, S.H.I.E.L.D., or the Avengers possibly do but help? They're facin' alien invasion; ah'm pretty sure ah'd like havin' Thor's hammer or Hulk's power on MY side if that happened. He also tells Ben that when sunlight hits the Circlet, Ben must touch the symbol on top. So the boy with a superpower-grantin', unremovable alien braclet goes ta bed. ....Why does that sound familiar?

:rainbowderp:: Anyway, on his way to school the next day, Ben gets ambushed by Kraal's robots, and is forced to keep running and hiding until the sun comes out all the way. Wow, that's lame; no wonder Iron Man's never made an entirely solar powered suit.
:twilightsheepish:: Once there's enough sunlight, Ben presses the symbol, opening up the Circlet. Now there are other buttons, and he somehow knows which one to press. It makes you wonder what the other buttons would even DO. Now Ben finally turns into the adult Solarman, who looks like Fabio in yellow and orange spandex. And now, having the power to defend himself and live his life dream as a superhero, what's Ben's first reaction? "I've become a...a hunk!"
..............
:facehoof:: Way to let the right body part think for you, kid. Anyway, as Solarman, he manages to destroy the robots before deciding to turn back into Ben so he can go to school. NOW he's got his priorities straight! Forget about consulting the military about the impending destruction of the Solar System, let's head back to school!
:duck:: The scary thing is that I have no idea if you're joking or not. All of a sudden, the Designated Love Interest, Jenny, shows up. Like a lunatic, Ben tries to convince her that the pile of junk in front of him were two robots, but she obviously doesn't believe him. Way to try and maintain that secret, Ben.
:twilightsheepish:: Unfortunately, once Jenny's left, the robots rebuild themselves and capture Ben, taking off in their spacecraft. Going back to their mothership, Ben finally meets Kraal, "Leader of the Robo-Droids."

YAY SOMEBODY REMEMBERS WORD-GIRL

Oh my god does this mean we have a fucking word girl in our verse?

I'm going mad:applejackconfused:

2434168 Yeah, not having cable resulted in me watching quite a bit of WordGirl.
I wouldn't. While it's a great show, it's nature is much more comical than your universe's. You could probably make it appear in-universe, though, as a favorite show of Lightspeed, the Powerpuff Fillies, Berry Pinch, Starfire, Jubilee, or maybe Squirrel Girl.

2434193 yeah, I figured it would probably be a cartoon in universe. Kinda like Darkwing Duck or something
