Morality: An honorable fighter, but is a fighter first and honorable second. If you have the capability to kill or harm him and you are in his way, he will not hesitant to put you down. X is not evil for kicks and giggles, but most often acts when following orders. That said, even the Xilien invasion fleets quickly learned to only use him once the defenseless were gone and only the more troublesome defenders remained; as X seems to have qualms about fighting or killing those who can't stand a chance to fight back
Traits: Bony armor plating (mostly torso, stomach, forearms, shins, and a helmet), whip-like tails, very experienced fighter, can survive in a vacuum, sharp claws and fangs
Powers:
Martial Arts Prowess - The fact this trait is present is so bizarre for a kaiju it deserves mention. Though he has sharp claws and fangs, X rarely utilizes them and has a very structured and agile martial arts fighting style when battling in close quarters. The exact method or style is unknown on Terra, using a lot of jumps, spins, backhand strikes, and round kicks; but some veterans of the 'Final War' report it to be similar to the attack method used by the higher ranking soldiers in the Xilien special forces.
Levitation - While not very proficient in the ability as others like King Ghidorah, Monster X is capable of suspending himself in the air for extended periods of time with psychic energy. While he cannot reach a very high altitude nor move very quickly outside of short bursts; the uses are fairly versatile. X is typically seen using it to dodge, reposition; or apply the same energy uses to suspend himself into adding more force behind a physical blow such as an empowered kick
Graviton Burst - After a brief charge time indicated by a bright flash of light from his eyes, X can fire out spiraling, golden streams of graviton particles out of his eyes. By very briefly increasing the gravity fields in the matter inside or impacted streams, they unleash a fairly potent concussive blast to anything they hit. The gravitons can also parry other energy bursts, but are prone to causing a mass explosion if done so for too long
Weakness: - Studies on how the Xilien's manage to control him show that X is very susceptible to mental or telepathic attacks and influence. He can easily be controlled by the Xilien controllers due to his M-based DNA

Monster X is an enigma. Almost nothing is known about his methods or history outside he's been in service to the Xilien leadership for roughly at least two centuries, but was only brought out in times of great need as a super weapon. Some scattered bits of information hint at he might be even older, as records dating back over three hundred years mention some sort of attack on the Xilien capital by an unknown aggressor speak a similar creature to X fending off the attack. Be it by some extreme longevity or that he spends most of his time out of deployment inside an asteroid in hibernation, the creature's age is indeterminable. DNA results show he has a Mytocine base (also called M-base) in his nucleotide cellular makeup. This 'M-Base' is unique to Xiliens themselves and any other species native to their planet, showing he does indeed come from the Xilien home world and isn't from elsewhere in the galaxy. This same M-base is how the Xilien manage to deploy and control him, as the psychic leader of their race (appropriately named 'The Controller') can influence any life form with the substance in their DNA. However reports from the field suggest the Controller can't directly manipulate Monster X as much as they can communicate and direct him. Not even stolen Xilien records bear much information about their greatest weapon other than the above mentioned historical accounts. Due to lacking a logged name, even from the Xilien's themselves, the black and white kaiju is only known as and even seems to respond to the standard placeholder, 'X'.
Exactly what species he belongs to is another mystery in itself, as his body layout doesn't match any species known to be native to Planet Xilien from the data banks provided by the Mysterians allied with Terra. However the similar use of graviton particles and the resemblance his shoulder plates have to two extra heads makes some speculate he has some relation to the Ghidorahs. This is supported as in 'Operation: Final War', when X was deployed alongside King Ghidorah; many psychics reported the former was greatly distressed by the latter's presence and King Ghidorah likewise seemed to both show and interest in and even seemed to be taunting X at some points. The only other known relation he has is that X and the Nebulan cyborg kaiju, Gigan and Megalon, apparently know each other and are old allies. As of now, Monster X's origins, true motives, and other facets such as his name; are all mysteries. Theories speculate from freak accident of nature, to an artificial kaiju akin to Terra's guardian beasts; to a demon from the nether realm. None are sure about the truth. And if reports from some psychics are to be believed when they briefly tapped into the vanguard's mind, possibly X himself is the most clueless of all.
Note: There is some speculation that a hidden power dwells inside X. Some have suggested it might be a new stage the creature could metamorphose into if given the proper conditions. What exactly this force is or what new form it might grant him if unlocked is unknown, but some psychics whom attempted to find out only saw nightmarish visions from the efforts. Many snapped out of their attempts screaming about a three headed, gold and black behemoth. Speculators can only hope this new form never comes to pass

But, if Monster X gains power in his kaiju form already it adds on and then he transforms.

Megalon is not (originally at least) a Nebulan. he's a Seatopian Water god.

Given the Seatopian's technological prowess and inexplicable ties to the Nebulans, felt it would make more sense if the latter party created Megalon and then perhaps gave him to the Seatopians.
