So quick update on a mistake. · 8:34pm Sep 1st, 2014
Okay, two things.
So, anyone who's read my story knows that the original characters Mr. E and Nika were actually 19 and 18 as well as being 5'8" and 5'10" respectively. If they went back, they would notice that both the age and size were changed. This was due to a reality check and a critical mistake made by me. I hadn't really thought about how a rock-rap duo at a young age may be realistic, but them being allowed to drink at bars is just wrong. No bar in Chicago caters to the under-aged. You can get sued for that. This an't Mexico.
The second thing you'll notice is that the third chapter may come sooner than expected. This doesn't mean I'm changing my update times, I am simply put on a bit of a... Race. Allow me to put some back story into this.
See, I actually conversed with and knew a fellow author by the name of Mr. Boston. See, he's an author as well and is actually in progress of a story called, "Welcome to the Human World, Lyra," which is a satire of Lyra and HiE fanfics. It's got all the stereotypes and cliches in there and it's a pretty funny read. He asked me at one point to help him with the editing and polishing of his story, and after seeing it's original state, I quickly accepted. (Seriously, this was just a editorial train wreck mixed with a horror scene.) After a bit, I noticed that he had a bit of trouble in one other department: Procrastination. He's a big procrastinator. He claims that he is busy and his chapters are a lot longer. While I can sympathize with the latter, the former just seems like a lie. I know he's secretly playing video games and the like. Anyways, when I completed my third chapter, I messaged him, basically taunting him about how I was close to surpassing him in the chapter section. At some point I may have pushed him, though, as he bet me that if I can submit my third chapter before he could send me his, then I would owe him money, and vice versa. I agreed like an idiot and now I have to race to get this chapter done.
So, if you see the third chapter done a bit early, you'll have your reason right there. Also, please support Mr. Boston and his story. Like I mentioned, it's a satire and a comedy. The humor is a bit crude, but it's still decent and worth a read. (Don't mind the poor grammar in the first chapter, that was me being lazy.) Anyways, this is Crazy-Eyed Sharpshooter saying Boiler Up, Hammer Down!!
P.S. I also found out Mr. Boston is going to the rival school of mine. Hilarious and a weird coincidence.
