Hey, does anyone remember that one person that used to post stories on this site now and then? Elsa Ylollipops, or something... wrote a story a while back about carrots? I wonder what happened to them. It's like they just stopped writing.
Oh wait, that was me. I stopped writing.
Contrary to what you may have heard, I was not found face-down in a kiddie pool in the backyard of a crack-dealer's house following my fleeting brush with the fame and glamor that come with having a story featured on EQD. None of the crack-dealers I know even own pools.
No, my fate for the last few months has been more mundane than that. Nothing more than simple writer's block, combined with growing depression over my continued failure to find any work that pays more than a hair over minimum wage.
Still working on that second problem, but I've at least made a breakthrough on the first. By means of a burst of inspiration that kept me awake all night typing for fear that the words would disappear if I slept, I now have a legible draft of:
Spitballed
I have mentioned the premise of this story before: Notably sexy Wonderbolts captain Spitfire has a fling with Rarity, but it is more - and less - than Rarity bargained for.
I need pre-readers to help straighten it out, but this story is Not Safe For Work, so I cannot post a link to the document here. If you want to help, let me know and I will PM you with the link.
My apologies to those of you who follow me that do not touch the explicit stuff. Hopefully this bout of inspiration will persist long enough for me to eke out something clean for you folks, too.
For the rest of you dirty pony-piddlers, be on the lookout for Spitballed sometime in the next week or two.

It probably won't warrant a [Romance] tag, unless for some reason my pre-readers talk me into some serious re-writes. The general idea, without spoiling too much for the folks looking in on this blog post, is some silly bedroom humor in which Rarity does not exactly get what she was after.
