It has been a little over a year since I did anything involving FimFiction. I think. I dunno, math is hard.
First, I should state, no, I'm not dead.
Second, my future in the pones -
There isn't much I've done that holds any significance among the pone community. A Marvelous Rainbow aside, most things I've done have been average at best. This isn't a pity party, so don't think that's what I'm doing. But when I sat down and thought about how to prioritize my... priorities, pones wasn't extremely high on the list.
I'm attending the University of Wyoming in a few days for a degree in Biology, and eventually in several years, be attending medical school. During this time I imagine I'll be very busy. I do, however, want something to do non-educationally, just to keep myself from stressing out. The one thing that repeatedly came up was A Marvelous Rainbow.
So here's my question for y'all. Would you like me to finish A Marvelous Rainbow, at a slight detriment to the quality of the writing? I mean, it wasn't great to begin with, but my writing hasn't improved in my absence.
If enough people want me to finish the story, that's cool, I can do that. If not, then that's fine too, I'll go on my way. Up to you guys.

I've always thought that one should write because they like it, and if anyone else looks it them great! And from the sounds of things, A Marvelous Rainbow qualifies for both.
I know I'd like to see the story completed.
And hey, don't worry about the University thing. Probably half the authors here are in the same situation. Once the transition period is over, I think you'll find that there's more time for pony than you expect.

I understand your feelings and trust me if you feel up to it you should write it. I know you feel like your work is only marginal but many of us do and with all honesty even the worst work his someone that wants them around.
Basically what I am saying is while I would like you to finish you have a lot on your plat and I don't want it to interfere.

I've decided I'll finish it as timely as possible. Obviously I'm gonna hit a few problems with time and schedules and stuff, but nevertheless, you'll get your dose of pones.
