2388904 Sombra's past as Elite Blood was short lived. Having been the son of Grand Blood, he needed to be strong. To make sure he stayed on par with the others of his clan, Grand Blood trained him night and day. Elite had little time to himself, much less for a romantic interest, not that he had any interest in such endeavors. All he wanted was to make his father proud.
He never met Celestia nor Luna as Elite Blood. While they were both of nobility, the Bloods were a different kind of royalty. They were a clan who fought and took pleasure in it. For the Royal Sisters who brought Harmony to the land, it was almost looked down upon if they met outside of the few events they so happened to attend at the same time. Even then, Elite was never part of those events. Not even when he had come of age. He would have, at one point, met the Princesses, but after the duel with Steel Blood, things became different for him.
