I'm back!

So, here I am. It feels good to have my family together again after about a year and a half apart. I made a difficult decision last winter with my wife about leaving our oldest with my parents so he could finish school where he was. His staying led to him pulling off A B honor roll for the entire school year! Love that kid! So, I took some leave and spent some time in Texas with my family. Brought the wife and little one along for good measure. We had a blast at one of the local lakes, and even went to a water park. I also went to visit my brother to chat about ponies and maybe pick his brain about my story. I wasn't surprised to find he thinks of my main character as a Stu, but I have been wanting to write about a dragon in Equestria for quite a while now. He is an outstanding writer himself on this site, but I don't wanna drop his name at this time. I love him and all, but I don't feel the need to ride his coattails. Chances are, you have already read a few of his stories already anyway. Anyway, I will be pounding out more story stuff as I can, so your patience is appreciated. I did try to start a chapter while I was on leave, but I was just having too much fun with my family to really get into it. I may go down to just weekends. We'll see. I'm still having loads of fun with Sparky's tale thus far. Peace out.
