Had a wonderful time at Bronycon again this year. Although it didn't have the initial 'wow' factor of 2013, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself ~
I had the chance to talking to the mother of a 14 year old daughter. She wasn't a brony herself, and was only here for her daughter's sake, but I still had a lovely chat. I'm sure you've all heard this story at some point or another - a parent is met with skepticism when first hearing about the fandom, but begins to warm up to it once they get to know the people in it. And yes, I was essentially told the same thing this year, but it's nice to hear it in person for a change. That and I had the chance to plug my work ~
Speaking of which, I'm wanting to write the first story in Dr. End's Curio Shop for EqD's summer writing contest. It's an open-world collaboration that I want to share with this website that I've had percolating in my head for a long time. Unfortunately, I haven't really written anything for a long, long time . . .
Well, that's gotta change. I want to get this collab off the ground, and this is the best way to do it.
