Some of you may have looked me up, and seen a few abandoned or mostly dormant accounts on other websites. And if you haven't yet, please don't go looking. Nothing I've left behind is worth dredging up, or at least that's how I feel about them.
Knightmares isn't the first thing I've ever written, but it's the first that I've published to any kind of acclaim. That's part of why I haven't done much before. I write sometimes, but I hardly ever let anyone else see, believing they'll hate it or find it stupid. Besides, I'm a lot better at building a world than doing anything with it, and that makes writing for a world that already exists even harder. But I have to put my ideas into words somehow, or the echoes in my head drive me insane.
This is the first thing I've put online that's gained any kind of appreciation, and for that, I'd like to thank all of you for setting aside the time to read the first work of a no-name author. Here's to the journey ahead.
