Changes in the rewrite of The Cabal

As promised, here are the changes that you can spot in the first chapter:
- The events flow smoother than in canon... Or at least I hope so.
- The Force Blader has been active for the past thousand years, ruling alongside Celestia.
- His Cabal has been helping the ponies, not staying hidden/disbanded like in the first two versions.

I'm back.

Ladies and gentlemen, after around four months of inaction on this site I can safely say I'm back. That's, however, only part of the news. The other part is that I'll be rewriting all my stories, starting with my own personal favorite, The Cabal. So expect the rewrites... Well, when I'm done with the first chapters. Which will take some time, since I also have university classes and my job.

And I'm dead.

Laptop: none. The one I was using got taken back by its owner.
My phone, on which I had chapters for all my stories? It got lost.
My writing is effectively dead... Not only did I loose all my progress, but job's been getting harder, and I have my university classes on top of that... My fateful readers, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry...

What is a man without his principles? Nothing, I guess.

You see, when I started roleplaying I decided on one thing. Something that transferred to my writing.

I decided that I was only going to have human characters. Because we Humans are superior. We have the most potential to be everything. From the greatest heroes to the cruelest villains. To be saviors or conquerors. To create masterpieces and destroy them.

In other words, there will always be humans in my writings, and they will always be superior. Even if they aren't as strong, as fast, as agile, as advanced as the other species.

Where am I going with this?

Well, I recently came upon a few pictures by artist AmostheArtman on DeviantArt which made me think of a good plot involving Spike and Rarity. Unfortunately...

The pictures are all Anthro.

Now I'm confused... On one hand, I'm an author with an idea. On another, that idea is against my principles... On a third, it's 4:15 AM, but that's irrelevant.

Ironic, isn't it?
