15 years ago, on August 1, 1999, a certain show premiere on Japanese television.
Today, this came out:

I hope it'll be on Fuji TV so they can use the iconic TV station again. Would kind of be a shame not to.
Hype can be a dangerous thing, especially for a trailer that seems marketed entirely at nostalgia without any indication of what actually expect form this new stuff...
That said, it's hard not to be super duper excited at the prospect of more adventures with the classic Digidestined!

2336512 Well it was JUsT announced but they are already working on it. The entire original cast of VA was there (at least for the kids, don't know about the Digimons), alongside Kouji Wada, for the annoncement, meaning there's a good chance the original voices will all come back! That's pretty cool!
Boy, does this take me back. Has it really been fifteen years? There's no way it's been fifteen years since Digimon came out.
