If anyone hasn't noticed, I haven't updated my story in a while. I have had very slow progress on my new chapter too. Now, you may be thinking that I am slacking off. You are mostly right. But, allow me to explain.
I have this problem where I get a song stuck in my head for sometimes an entire day. Then, ideas form around the song. Then, I create a story in my head inspired by that song. Then, I write the first chapter of this story. Then, I either get stuck somewhere, I don't like how the story is going, or I find that someone else has already made a story on the exact same topic.
This is a problem. I always end up spending about a week creating a story, then abandoning it. Curse you amazing pony songs! However, that is how Fallout Equestria: Paragon started. I couldn't get the song September, by thelivingtombstone, out of my head. So I worked with it. But, this is still distracting me from writing my main story, so I don't like it.
Well, that is all. Have a Pinkie Pie eating the forth wall.
Well, if youget a song stuck in your head, you could try listening to it over and over until the song begins to annoy you. Thats what I do at least.

Yeah, but then I just have an annoying song stuck in my head all day, and I am a terrible writer when I am in a bad mood. I once had to delete 1000 words from a chapter because the tone they contained was way off of what I was going for.

I can just get the song that inspired me to write the story stuck in my head again so that the inspiration will keep on pumping in. Perfect!

162168 The real question is, why would you want to play a song that is that awesome over and over until it annoys you? That just takes away some of the awesome of the world, and you know, the world could always use more awesome.
