Well crap alright! lets see some shitty things that are happening!
1.Skulltag is now a dead port!
Yes, it's being replaced by "zandorium"
Currently there re doing most of skulltag (hopefully catching up on revisions!) and removing anything that had "controversial issues" (ownership of sprites and hubaba)
2.My laptops in repair!
It happened to have my word documents in em! (may have to start from scratch)
3.Someone beat me to it!

1.scrap the FanFiction Idea and walk away
2.continue writing
3.make it into a WAD
I can do 2 and 3 at the same time for smother idea transition but it might take WAY more time and if I plan to do 3, Then i'll need some artists for all the textures and sprites. I'll see if i can find one.....

The only major obstacle in this fic writing is that I already know what's gonna happen but I can't seem to write it out 100% of the actual though! any tips?
keep working even if someone beat you to it it would still be a great story plus we could always use more doom marine in are lives
Ouch. That's always the worst, when someone else writes it just before you and you get that whole "not first" feeling.
Important, but very, very difficult: read through the other story and see how different it is from yours and take no ideas from it. If it is different enough, by all means, continue.
As to writing it out, the easiest way I've found to make a complete story is to write an outline (basic outlines and bare dialogue), then extrapolate background from it.
A character does X to advance the story. Then ask why he does X. Does he need additional development in order to do X? Does Y need to happen to make him more likely to do X? Will doing X then make him say something about Z to another character?
Anyway, sorry for the rant. It works for me sometimes, though. When I get stuck.
