So for those of you wondering what I've been using my writing time with, it's been mostly to do with other people's stuff. Like this SpikeDash collab YourNeighborhoodAlicorn has organized with myself and a few other notable SpikeDash writers. It's quite a serious story, and quite a lengthy one as well. There's a bit of fluffiness in there, but for the most part, the story strays away from the safe themes of the show, dealing with some more controversial topics. The story is called About Last Night.
Don't let the name fool you: this story is no lighthearted story. This is a story that the other authors and I have spent months meticulously stressing over even the smallest details. It stands knee-deep in topics that I usually wouldn't broach so haplessly. Both Spike and Rainbow Dash are faced with trials unlike anything I've got planned in any of my other stories. It's rated Teen for a reason, after all. This story is going to test them, and I really hope you join us for the ride.
About Last Night was somewhat inspired, at least for me, by a fic I've been editing for a while now, Draconian Soul's As Sweet As Lavender. While About Last Night may have its fluffy parts and its eyeroll parts, it is in essence Spike and Rainbow's struggle to cope with the situation they're thrown into, and in turn deal with the prejudice and judgement cast upon them.
The SpikeDash Group Collab will be getting updated very soon. I apologize for not uploading the new stories sooner, but it's been quite low on my gargantuan to-do list. I'll be updating it sometime within the next twenty-four hours. Once again, if you want to join in on the collab, please direct your attention to this thread, which is where you will find all the unedited versions. If you want to contribute, give the latest prompt a glance and see what you can come up with. Honestly, I've been staring at the word "Celery" for the last month wondering how on earth I'm going to build a relationship based on that. I'll probably throw myself at it again this evening.
So I suppose if you're reading this far, you're probably interested in hearing about what I'm doing with other projects. The good news is that most of them are practically on the precipice of completion. I just need a handful of prereaders to scan over my writing and let me know of any plot holes or inconsistencies. (Most of my last prereaders never got back to me)

Strange. I stayed up until 2pm, then had a nap. Woke up at 6pm, played games for an hour, then went back to bed for another nap, woke up at 9pm, and since then I've just been tapping out blogs, threads, comments, etc.
