So, here's a thing. I'm posting a new oneshot story, Dreaming While You Sleep, but I've got an announcement to go along with that.
I've decided to give out my services as an editor, beta reader, and critic out to all of you, my readers, absolutely FREE.
That's right, none of those annoying ponies demanding pay for their editing and suggestions. Just suggestions-- because I love what I do, and I want you to love it too!

Yes, and general editing. I've seen a few of them.
Basically, it doesn't matter to them what it is. They want money to edit it. Fanfiction, manuscript, play, whatever, they want money for their effort.

I was about to comment something along the lines of "If you want people to pay for fanfiction editing, you might want to educate upon the meaning of the word 'fanfiction'." but I see it's not needed.
What is this, Hasbro? Oh... wait...
Honestly... I mean I understand PayPal donation button or something but outright "give the money"?

Also your announcement is great. If I didn't already have a prereader/editor lined up for my next project I might ask, but such is life...
As for the money for editing thing... I would personally outright refuse payment even if it were offered. Fanfiction, reading writing, editing... all this stuff, it is for fun. And it's more or less free fun... except I am investing in a laptop so I can write in the sunshine... So without making any money on it, I get to have a one hundred percent negative cash flow... I'm so damn happy.
