Gleaming

The window through which we perceive life is what defines our experience of it. We are only aware of a small fraction of what our senses pick up. We can all choose how we see the world.

    The End?

Over the past few months since I announced my return, my muse has been fading on and off lately where I can't bring myself to completely finish a story, not even staying dedicated at that. The deepest regret in my heart is telling me to wrap things up once and for all. It is with great dismay, that the next story I'll be posting will indeed be my last story, I've gotta say that it has been a long

    Retirement

I never thought I would have to say this or have it come to this, but since college has been in the way, it has really prevented me from writing altogether.

    Personal Update/Future

I'll be starting college in five days and the first semester can range from September to December, so don't expect anything new until school is out of the way.

    In the meantime, cherish life.

    AMA... Again.

Same rules apply any other Ask Me Anything I have done:

    1. You are allowed to ask anything about me: stories, personal life, future, etc.

    2. Advice, collaboration offers, anything of that matter are allowed I'll try to answer to the best of my ability.

    3. Writing process and other stuff can also be asked, but can't spoil anything for you.

Fire those questions in the comments!

Another review: Hearts of Class · 4:33pm Jul 12th, 2014

I didn't think I would be reviewing another story, but when you receive a request from the author to review their story it's almost hard to say no. I've also been requested to review this in a professional manner, so let's dive right into: Hearts of Class I: Blossoming Courtship.

Please note that I'm going to review the first installment of the story, don't know if I'll review the sequel as well.

The premise of this story is, Sweetie Belle and Spike are being sent to a private school in Canterlot by Rarity and Twilight called Canterlot School for Equestria's Gifted. They enjoy each others' company, find love, and their is a line between their academic and relationship success.

We begin this chapter with Rarity trying to wake up Sweetie Belle, and Spike informing her that Twilight sent him to the same school that she will be attending. That sums up the first chapter if you ask me.

Now we move on to the next chapter, A Long and Eventful Journey.

Spike and Sweetie Belle have a conversation, then Spike accidentally burps fire at a mare's face. Then Spike beats up one of the seniors, we are introduced to a new character in the story named Lyvia. They take the train and they arrive at the school.

Throughout this story, we see Spike and Sweetie Belle meet more characters, grow throughout the story, and see if they could survive in a school environment at first. To save time, I enjoyed this story I'm not gonna lie.

Lyvia, Sweetie Belle, and Spike were expelled by the headmaster of the school for dating and it is clearly against the rules. That's my only gripe with this story, I understand that conflict is needed to advance the story but I never knew that a prestigious school would not tolerate romance.

So that was, Hearts of Class I: Blossoming Courtship. I'd say that this story is an enjoyable read to me, though I can see why the author removed the Rarity tag from the story since she wasn't seen once at all.

Pros:
The premise
The romance
Using the tags to your advantage
The story's execution

Cons:
Grammar
The story overall

Verdict: Needs work, but I still recommend it. Maybe the sequel will shed more light on the subject, anyway I'll see you all later!
