I don't write, so much as I perform acts of high-wire fiction without a net. Come watch me fall! I believe in narrative coincidence, the transcendent power of hopeful creativity, and the Oxford Comma.

The Hole In The Sun Will Be Updating Again Soon · 9:06am Jul 3rd, 2014

Yes, you heard me... I'm actually going to start updating again. As many of you know, I'm on the writing staff for Everfree this year, and that, combined with several other commitments, has eaten up all my writing time the past couple of months. For that, I apologize. I never thought I'd go so long between updates, and I feel I've let myself down, as well as all you wonderful readers.

The good news is, with the con happening this weekend, and most of my other commitments wrapping up within a week or so after that, I'll be back to having a lot of time to write. So yes, I'm getting of my lazy tail and smashing out more pony words! Currently, I've got a complete chapter, around 6500 words, just about finished. That will be going to my prereaders after I get back from Everfree, and I'll be working hard to crank out more after that as well. I really miss writing, and can't wait to get back to it.

In the meantime though, thank you all so much for your patience, and I hope you'll stick around as the story gets moving again.

Also, if you're going to be at Everfree this weekend, come say hi! I'll be in pretty much all the writing events (and running several of them) so I shouldn't be too hard to find. I'll try to check PMs regularly while there too, in case anyone needs/wants to contact me directly.

:yay:!
Have fun at con! :pinkiehappy:

Looking forward to it.

But hey, there are stories I'm waiting for updates on that haven't been updated since 2013, even one that hasn't been updated since 2012. And on the other end of the spectrum, I've found a number of other good stories to fill my fic-reading time.
