I've been a little quiet lately, but mainly because I haven't had much to say. I've updated my story writing methods, by adopting an outline so I know what happens next and what I need to accomplish in each chapter. I worry it will take some of the surprise out of it, so when I finish a chapter I won't be amazed at how well it turned out and be surprised at where I took the story. But I'm hoping it will help with the writer's block.
The reason this chapter's been taking so long is not because of writer's block this time. Instead, it's been that I've put it off a bit. Yes, I've been busy and stuff, but I've also been a little worried and disheartened about losing the element of surprise. I don't know, I'll be fine.
Good news is, Chapter 7 is almost done! So don't worry, I haven't forgotten about it or gave up. I am workin' on it, and it's almost here.
