Tyrant: A Dramatic Reading · 9:18pm Jun 27th, 2014

A couple new milestones for me this week! First off, talented reader Goombasa decided to create a 'Dramatic Reading' of Tyrant. I never imagined any of my stories would warrant such a thing, so consider me the epitome of flattered. I've already heard it and I must say I really like what he did with it. I encourage everyone who loves Tyrant to give it a listen.

Second, I also have the first fanart for one of my stories, created by the talented Dextrocity for my story Twilight's Inferno, depicting Broken Twilight in her final form. Due to the bloody nature of the image I figure it's probably considered NSFW, so instead of showing it outright I'll just provide a little link. Be forewarned; if you don't like the idea of Twilight looking brutalized, you might not want to check it out.

In unrelated news, I've begun reading through my RiL list during my breaks at work. I've already pushed through two stories and am currently punching through A Ballad of Eeyup and Nope. What this has all come to make me realize is that I'm actually a bit of a harsh critic (and Cerulean Voice can vouch for this), particularly towards stories that attempt to be serious. Now that my reviewer's hat is finally on, I'm looking forward to blasting stories. I've got 147 stories to read before I'm caught up... and after that I might just start taking recommendations or requests, but we'll see. It's going to take me a few months to catch up on this list at any rate.

Last but not least: Ordinary World will be coming out this weekend, with or without cover art. After that I'll finally move on to finish Lightning's Bolt, and hallelujah for it! It will be wonderful to get back to it. I've been going back and looking over some of the chapters already up and am remembering exactly why I was so eager to write it in the first place.

That is one disturbing image. It barely resembles a pony, let alone Twilight.

I know. Part of me is thrilled to finally have someone do fan art featuring material from my work.

...but then I look at the image itself and think... well, aren't I an asshole?

And I'm back on my knees begging Twilight for forgiveness (and mercy).

You're not gonna let that go, are ya? Fine, fine, I'll target it after I finish my current story.

Hey thanks! I knew something was up when I had a jump in page views on my deviantart page, even thought I didn't post anything at all. :pinkiehappy:

In honor of the sheer awesomeness of having one of my stories turned into a dramatic reading, I've more or less decided to completely ignore the error sitting right there on top of the video for all 25 minutes. :scootangel:

Unfortunately, if I'm going to no life anything it'll involve writing, not reading. I have too many stories competing for attention in my brain to spend time reading – which will only lead to more story ideas. No, the reading shall be limited to when I can't write.:rainbowdetermined2:
