I thought it would be best if I posted some thoughts about my own story here.
First of all: I don't have a plan for this story, that is part of it's challenge. Well, that's not completely accurate, I do know how it ends, but between now and then... Yeah, I got nothin'. This story will go where it wants to, have as many chapters as I can write, and when it's done it will end.
Second: I'm very happy with the comments I have received. Honestly I didn't expect any reaction at all, let alone people saying "This is fun, but you need to fix something (the pacing) for it to be great." Because of that Chapter 2 might not line up with Chapter 1, yet.
This brings us to point three:
I am currently playing around with Chapter 1 again, trying to fix some of the pacing issues. Part of the problem, however, is that I'm trying to set way too much up in one day. I have started on Chapter 3 (Now that Ch2 is done, how could I not?), and I guarantee the story will slow down. It will also involve leaps in time (Hence the chapter names, did you EVER wonder about those?).
If I have anything else (tentatively) planned out it will be a Thanksgiving with Fluttershy.
