    Fun with AI

It's not perfect. Honestly, it's fairly far from my abstract vision of it. But for a couple hours just playing with Suno, it's pretty solid. Presenting Broken Bonds in audio form.

    Seeking Power Revision Notes

Well, it took two months and ate up far too much of my time, but I revised Seeking Power to a point where I'd enjoy continuing it. As such, it's no long on hiatus, and I'll be updating the text here over the course of the next hour or so. It was the first writing project that I sent out into the world (that still exists), and it really showed. You can still read the original version

    Surprise! Not Dead.

As stated in the title, I'm no longer dead. Anyway, if you enjoyed the omake from The Moon's Apprentice, it now has a full length story in the works which you can find here:

The Moon's Apprentice - Chapter Twenty Four Author's Notes

If you have not read the relevant chapter yet, it would be unwise to read these notes.

Since someone asked me to give my reasons for writing the last chapter as I did, I shall do so here.

The Moon's Apprentice - Chapter One Footnotes

As nothing can stop the wisdom of TheGreatSmooze, I've double posted the footnotes here and at the end of the chapter. If this works out well, I'll probably do this for every chapter.

An Important Announcement · 8:18pm Jun 16th, 2014

Way back when I first posted The Moon's Apprentice, I made a stealth promise to everyone. If the story got at least 1000 favorites or 750 likes before leaving the popular box, I would surrender to peer pressure and continue it myself. And recently, the story met the 750 like requirement. It's actually pretty funny how close it came to not happening.

However, I still consider Seeking Power to be my primary creative interest at the moment so expect slower updates from this story as well as a much shorter work overall. I'll be aiming at a comfortable 100k-200k words rather than an epic, but I will not artificially shorten the story if it runs longer. I still do not have an idea for it, and obviously no outline, so it will be some time before I next update.

Now, that said, I still want to see more stories with the premise of Nightmare Moon/Luna being Twilight's sole teacher (disregarding Twilight herself and scraps she may have learned from someone else) and I know I'm not alone in that regard. There are millions of ideas and I've seen quite a few interesting ones floating around in various places already. As such, I have created a new group, The Nightmare Teacher, where we can collect these stories (art for the group pending creation by a local artist friend). Do join in and if you stumble upon a story with this theme, add it to the group.

May the night protect you.

(For those of you waiting for a Seeking Power update, I've been delayed by friends returning to town and The Moon's Apprentice. And also by Twilight and Chrysalis not being happy about what they have to do. I'm about halfway done with the next chapter and will hopefully have it out by the end of the week.)

That's what you get when you tease the mob with good story ideas... :derpytongue2:

Yayyyy!!! Thank you!!!:pinkiehappy::yay:

I'm surprised it's taken this long to get the 750 votes considering how good and the amount of potentual it has!:pinkiehappy: AND I like the sound of the group! Got severl stories in the read later list that might fit, need to finally read them and make certain.

...I just finished the posted chapters of Seeking Power, and now I am torn. I really want more of it. And I really want more The Moon's Apprentice. And any time you spend working on one is time you're not working on the other!!:raritycry:
(Seriously, though, neat, and I was wondering when there'd be a group. And I've now read and favourited everything you've posted here, so, you know, good job. :))

Totally Joining.

Thoughts, Oh my Celestia it's happening.:pinkiehappy:

I... I think I drooled a little.

It's great to hear you'll be continuing it, no matter how slowly, and that you also still hope others will take up the premise. There's a lot of different directions the story could go, and I'm looking forward to your version.

Well, I shall recommend Night's Favored Child, then.

I really am not sure if I should laugh or cry after reading this blog.
