A hoof punches out of the grave

Mother BUCKER it has been too long. So yeah... I'm back, for the .2 guys who remember and care. Due to me losing cable and Netflix being a year behind, I kind of fell out of the fandom for a while. However, I have officially gotten caught up, and was struck with inspiration. It's time I dug up an old idea, but on a brand new campus...

    An Unfortunate Conclusion

I have some bad news, and I feel bad about having to give it. The more I think about the direction I want to take my life in, the more I realize that a Wild Wasteland reboot is just really not in the cards. It's not that I can't find the time to write it, or that I've lost interest in the project; Wild Wasteland makes me happy and just the idea of writing it also makes me happy. The issue is that

The Current Status of Wild Wasteland

As I mentioned before, Wild Wasteland is rebooting, but it may be a bit later than anticipated. I am partway through the first chapter, but before publishing it I need to reread the original Fallout Equestria as well as get a good outline of the final product finished. If anyone has any questions or suggestions, feel free to ask, I'm always up for it!

    Wild Wasteland Reboot

It's official: after years of college and other projects, I will be restarting Fallout Equestria: Wild Wasteland. It occurred to me that I have never been happier or more productive as a writer than when I was working on that project. I know a lot of people have given up on me returning to that story, but I feel I am ready to take it on again. One thing that should be said, however, is that this

    MLDR Rewrite Update

A couple months ago I said that I was going to rewrite my Danganronpa crossover. Hopefully within the month, I intend to start. This means I will be taking down the current story. The changes are substantial enough that there is no hope of just editing the current version, as it will include a heavily altered cast and setting. If you wish to follow the development more, you can refer to

Getting on EQD · 2:25am Jun 8th, 2014

I just tried sending in MLDR to Equestria Daily. It was rejected, (actually they said 'I cannot reccomend posting it at this time') which I wouldn't see as a problem as it's their right to do so, but the thing is, they said that due to the amount of fic submissions, they couldn't tell me exactly what was wrong with it, leaving me with no idea of what they want from me. Seriously, I understand they aren't equipped to handle everything, but if they took the time to actually read the fic to screen it, then it should have taken even less time to tell me what they didn't like. The only thing I can think of is Snowdrop's inclusion (they do ban submissions involving famous bronies, but the rules don't specify anything about famous OCs), or when I use formatting tricks for Shoeshine's execution.

So, quick question: should I change the formatting in that chapter to something more conventional and try again, or do I refuse to compromise my artistic integrity, like a boss?

Don't bother with them. They are snobs every since Seth is running it. Trust me if their team doesn't like it, they will not accept it.

Keep your integrity, like a boss.

I submitted a fic a while and and they told me the same. I looked over it and made a few changes myself, but decided not to send it in again.
I think you only need to make the changes you think are necessary. Make the story something you like. Not something authority likes, simply because they are authority.

Thanks for the input, guys. I figure I actually don't stand much to gain from having it up there anyway, since it'll probably be lost in a sea of other posts. Besides, I actually realized that Click Clack's entire character revolves around formatting jokes, so I'd probably have to change an entire character to please them.

2192125 That is the reason why I say never go and submit. Besides they are too busy promoting fics that is done way more times and idea that are so crazy and badly written like that sharknado crossover.

2192132 Was Sharknado any good? It sounds like an awesome concept for a quirky indie video game, but maybe not for a movie.

Its a movie mostly. Honestly its not good anyway.

We literally just started watching that movie in creative writing. Everyone says that it's so bad that it's good. I must agree. I wanted to laugh and cry so much during that.

2192125 Fuck'em, I say get popular the hard way, your story is a high quality one, anyone can see that.

I tried submitting one of mine, it said the same thing
