So a lot of folks have noticed I haven’t been as active on FimFic lately. The enforced hiatus from COVID and the world going into lockdown kind of threw off my writing groove, and when I started getting back into writing I found that the projects I was interested in lived outside the fandom space. I think it’s probably something that was building up for a while before lockdown, anyone who’s
Synopsis: When one of her apprentice's friend-of-a-friends goes missing, Archmagus Sunset Shimmer doesn't hesitate to get involved. However, what initially appears to be a simple case of a missing child will wind up leading her to a criminal conspiracy and political intrigue at the highest levels of Freeport.
Synopsis: When Twilight Sparkle traveled through time to stop Starlight Glimmer, she had no idea of the wider consequences of their actions. By trying to restore her old world, she was also wiping away the new ones that Starlight's changes to the past had created. Now, the last remnants of those destroyed worlds have come for revenge.

Pinkie's looking to ruin Dresden's reputation of being a serious badass. Seriously can you imagine Marcone taking him seriously after seeing Dresden hanging with a pink pony?
Oh what am I saying. He's probably a fan. His favorite pony would probably be Rarity.
Yea, there would just be no getting around the fact that Harry would be having a big old talking pink pony following him everywhere. There would just be so many terribly awkward conversations. Hilariously awkward that is.
I dunno, I could see Marcone being a Pinkie fan. I mean, he grew up in the era of Chuck Jones et al. He'd probably appreciate her Looney Tunes-style of comedy and random sense of humor. Probably even sings "Giggle at the Ghosties" in his head to pump himself up before dealing with the various supernatural powerhouses.
Actually, come to think of it, I'm surprised Harry's not a bigger Rarity fan. A basically good person who struggles with her darker impulses but is ultimately always there for her friends? Seems like a good fit.
144919 I think Harry likes all the ponies pretty equally, it's just that so far he's had the most interaction with Pinkie (on account of her being the original dimensional traveler and all) and Rainbow Dash (being in middle of an action arc really gave them a battle-bond, and Rainbow reminds him of himself when he was younger and more impulsive). Incidentally, Chapter 18 is going to have some nice interaction between Harry and Rarity. Pinkie and Rainbow's current status is giving him a bit more time to interact with the other ponies.
Have to agree with Sithis on Harry's general lack of fabulosity; the duster is about the only stylish piece of clothing he owns (and he wasn't the one who bought it). Otherwise, he's running around saving the world in a ratty pair of jeans and an old t-shirt.
So far Harry has forged links with Pinkie and Rainbow Dash, with Rarity on the way. That leaves Applejack and Fluttershy if the latter doesn't spontaneously combust at some point (totally not hoping for that to happen)
144945 As someone who likes to follow fashion generally, I would just like to point out that dusters are most certainly not stylish. Particularly in the friggin' summer.
146317 I think it depends on how one defines style; he is wearing a Badass Longcoat after all. Dusters might not be fashionable in most areas, but badass cares not for fashion or season.
150264 Ah, but even TV Tropes agrees with me: "Harry Dresden famously sports a duster. He's enchanted it to be bulletproof and knifeproof, so almost never goes anywhere without it - no matter how unfashionable it is."
That said, I can't really see Dresden deciding to wear flower-print trousers and colourful shirts any time soon, so he's doomed anyway.
WEEEEE.
FANART.

144320 Oh yeah. Though Michael's kids would probably murder Harry out of jealousy.

Rarity might seem like a good fit for harry except for one thing. Rarity has a sense of fashion. Harry throws on clothes because they fit.
144932
Sure, but on the other hand, he wears a cheesy leather duster because he's convinced it's cool. I think Rarity would back him up on it.

Regardless, Rarity is best pony.
